Townsville Animal

Townsville’s animal community offers plenty of practical ways to enjoy life with animals, from learning new skills with a dog or horse to building an aquarium, keeping poultry or caring for livestock. Local clinics cover everyday pet health as well as birds, reptiles and pocket pets, while specialist shops can help with fishkeeping, feed, bedding and animal-care equipment. Boarding, grooming, training and wildlife rescue add useful support for the times when animals need extra care or owners want to develop their knowledge.

There are also welcoming pathways into riding and horse sports, including lessons at a dedicated equestrian centre, mobile coaching at your own property and club activities at Bartlett Park. The selection below brings together practical services and interests across Townsville, Aitkenvale, Thuringowa Central, Cranbrook, Kelso, Alice River and nearby areas.
